| | Description: | Our client is a successful international electronics materials manufacturer. They seek an experienced applications/product engineer with knowledge and experience in RF technology. This position will report to the company's Vice President of Technical Marketing and will serve as an integral link between the function of product development and customer base (existing and targeted). The person filling this job will work closely with OEM customer's technical staffs in the development of product application guidelines and testing requirements.
Duties will involve:
•Regularly interact with company’s product development department (R&D) to understand new materials and processes, and develop testing/evaluation plans that will facilitate evaluation/approval by OEM designers.
•Assist in “product championing” during the prototype & introduction phase of new products. This includes such activities as product benchmark testing, literature (data sheets, process guides) development, presentation material development, technical article development, and conducting presentations at key OEM’s and industry seminars to introduce the product.
•Establish relationships with design decision-makers and other influences materials at selected OEM’s. Identify product requirements for existing and new programs. Support sales to obtain specification position for the appropriate company product(s).
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline coupled with 5-7 years of hands-on technical experience in RF electronics and materials.
